Automatic Saw Cutting


Automatic, Saw Cutting is to cut the metals and woods automatically without human resources.



Automatic Saw Cutting project is beneficial in the industrial companies. In industrial groups, there is need to cut the metals and woods to a different shape. By using human resources it takes many times, and also accuracy may be low. By using this project, the cutting process preformatted automatically. So it saves the time as well as decreases the labourers. The efficiency also achieved in this project.

This project designed with a microcontroller, Real-time clock, Relay driver circuit along with relays, Keypad and Mechanical arrangement.

The real-time clock is the particular type to IC integrated circuit used to generate a real timing signal. Its called as RTC. The battery is in build in this IC.

When power is switched OFF, then it can maintain the timing signal. RTC sends the timing signal to the microcontroller.
Here the microcontroller may Atmel or PIC both are flash type reprogrammable microcontroller in which we have already programmed. The set of keys in the keypad is used to set the time of operation.

For example, if you want to cut the material for an hour the timing is set in the microcontroller through the critical bad. The microcontroller receives the timing signal from RTC and activates the relay driver circuit for that particular period.

The relay output is directly connected mechanical arrangement. This automatic mechanism is designed to be fit the different hacksaw such as slanting teeth, sharp teeth etc.

So the cutting operation is performed for that particular period. At the end of the setting time, microcontrollers turn OFF the relay, so the cutting process is stopped. In this way, cutting operation performed automatically
